Deadend clevis used for attaching deadend insulators and guys with extension links. Clevis has 5/8" cotter bolt. Hot dip galvanized.
DESCRIPTION:
Secondary clevis is a device that is made by punching two holes at the end of flat steel. The flat steel is then bent making a U shape. A clevis pin which will act as the spool insulator is passed through the holes. A clevis pin can be assumed as a bolt which can be threaded or unthreaded at the end. It also has a cross hole which provides the allowance for a split pin.
APPLICATION:
An insulated clevis for low voltage secondary and rural line construction. Channel steel develops high deadend strength. Insulator not included. It is used for dead-ending and at corner structures to provide clearance for mounting equipment or climbing space.
Features:
1) Designed to develop high strength on deadends or line pulls
2) All components are hot dip galvanized to meet ASTM Specification A153.
3) Corrosion resistance is provided by the Hot-dipped galvanized steel
